Potential New Members

We are excited that you are interested in learning more about Alpha Xi Delta! If you are interested in obtaining a recommendation but don’t know an Alpha Xi Delta personally, please contact the San Antonio Area Recruitment Chair at axidsarecommendation@gmail.com.

All graduating high school seniors planning to participate in recruitment should register with their campus as well as the Panhellenic Association of San Antonio (PASA). The PASA registration deadline is April 27, 2019.

Submitting a Member Recommendation Form is one of the many ways that you can help a collegiate chapter during recruitment.

If you know an outstanding young woman who will be going through recruitment, please contact the San Antonio Area Recruitment Chair at axidsarecommendation@gmail.com. Please include your Chapter and Initiation Year in your email.

Recruitment Glossary

Potential New Member: High school graduate or an unaffiliated college or transfer student who plans to attend (or who is attending) a college which has sororities and who is interested in sorority membership.

New Member: A young woman who has accepted a fraternity bid but has not yet been initiated.

Member Recommendation Form: A specific information form that sponsors a potential new member.

Legacy: Generally defined as a daughter, sister or granddaughter of an initiated member.

Formal Recruitment: Period of time formally designated by the College Panhellenic for meeting potential new members.
